Electronic
Music Umbrella (EMU) is an urban grassroots volunteer-based movement
dedicated to promoting publicly electronic music as an art form.
EMU recognizes electronic music as the music that speaks in the
frequency of our soul.
EMU hosts Festivus, it's annual celebration of the child in each of
us. This past year Festivus was held in Central Park on July 8, 2006.

EMU has hosted five successful events in the past four years, each
event free and open to the public. With ongoing support from
like-minded people, EMU will continue creating open spaces for New
Yorkers to dance in the daylight. EMU is a 501.c3 not-for-profit organization. All donations to EMU are tax-deductible.
